2020 USCB Visual Art & Design Faculty Exhibition  

The Sea Islands Center Gallery at the University of South Carolina Beaufort is pleased to present a virtual exhibition featuring the work of the faculty of the Department of Visual Art & Design of the University of South Carolina Beaufort.  This year’s exhibition features a diverse collection of work, ranging from wooden sculptures woven with webs of thread to nonobjective paintings of energetic patterns and colors. Other work includes satirical portraits of contemporary politicians donning superhero costumes, intimate sculptural forms made of dyed cotton, large-scale ambient light installations, and interactable 3-D models of fantasy monsters. 

 

Artists include Joanna Angell, Ann Holderfield, Kim Keats, Laurie Lovell, Chad Penner, Chris Robinson, and Jim Sidletsky.
